Plants for the Seasons
HELLEBORES GALORE
Helleborus x hybridus (Lenten Rose) with double blooms are still the “hot” plant for the winter garden and we are pleased to be able to offer a variety of sizes this year. Heronswood gallons in bloom are our higher end selections but we also have Elizabeth Strangman’s (from the UK) seed strain “Double Queen” Mix in 2 1/4″ pots at $9.50 each. These smaller plants are seedlings from double parents and many catalogs list as 100% true but we don’t guarantee this until we have actually seen them bloom. In addition to our “Gethling Glade” strain of single hellebores (hundreds in bloom for your selection), we will also have seedlings of the well known “Royal Heritage” strain in 4″ pots.
