A retail and mail order nursery specializing in hellebores
and hard-to-find shrubs and perennials for sun and shade

This is a farm-turned-nursery, and the sales yard is located in the former barnyard under the spreading branches of large white oaks.

The building previously used as a “packhouse” for preparing tobacco for market is now “packed” full of used garden tools and collectibles at reasonable prices.

There are display gardens for sun and shade and a woodland trail. Stoneworks are hand-crafted on the premises.

Featuring the Lenten Rose — a long-lasting Valentine — and thousands of Helleborus x hybridus including Heronswood Doubles and English Strains. Also, Hardy Cyclamen, Daphne, Edgeworthia, Cornus mas, Poet’s Laurel, and more.
