A retail and mail order nursery specializing in hellebores
and hard-to-find shrubs and perennials for sun and shade

Featuring thousands of Helleborus x hybridus (doubles and singles) as well as Daphne, Edgeworthia, Camellias, and Hardy Cyclamen.

SPECIAL NOTICE:

Due to an ice-covered sales yard and ridiculously low temperatures for our area, we will not begin Hellebore Days on February 20 as previously announced. We will begin on February 27 and 28 (weather permitting) and will add another weekend on March 13 and 14. Stay safe and warm and we hope to see you after the thaw. See revised schedule below:

Hellebore Days – 2015 – Friday and Saturday, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

FREE guided tour of Woodland Garden at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 13, and Saturday, March 14. Call to register (336-656-3096).

Operating hours — other than Hellebore Days: Cheerfully, ANYTIME by appointment (336-656-3096) and frequently at the Greensboro Farmers Curb Market on Saturdays, 7 a.m. – 12:00 noon

Gethsemane Gardens is a farm-turned-nursery, and the sales yard is located in the former barnyard under the spreading branches of large white oaks.

The building previously used as a “packhouse” for preparing tobacco for market is now “packed” full of previously loved garden ornaments and collectibles at reasonable prices.

Plants, chickens, bunnies and beautiful hardwoods within 20 minutes of Greensboro. Shop for perennials for sun and shade and hard-to-find trees and shrubs. Browse the Packhouse filled with garden supplies, antiques, and collectibles.

There are display gardens for sun and shade and a woodland trail. Stoneworks are hand-crafted on the premises.

Gethsemane Gardens is located on NC Highway 150 East, north of Greensboro, North Carolina — the nursery is easily accessible from NC Highway 29, US Interstate 85/40, or US Highway 220.
